History Tours
In 1524, Italian explorer Giovanni da Verrazano discovered New York Harbor and the area, presently, referred to as New York City. Today, more than 8 million people live in the city’s five boroughs and as many as 800 languages are spoken in the City of New York.
If you’re visiting New York for the first time or if you’re a local with a thirst for knowledge, a history tour is a must!
Inside New York
On this tour, we’ll take an inside look at why New York is considered the cultural and financial capital of the world, as well as learn about its humble beginnings on Governors Island. We’ll explore the ins and outs of Lower Manhattan and talk about the different groups of people that have migrated to New York City throughout history.
Together, we'll examine how New York City became a top city, as well as how and why it continues to represent a Wild West of opportunity for both residents and newcomers.
