In 1524, Italian explorer Giovanni da Verrazano discovered New York Harbor and the area, presently, referred to as New York City. Today, more than 8 million people live in the city’s five boroughs and as many as 800 languages are spoken in the City of New York.
On this tour, we’ll take an inside look at why New York is considered the cultural and financial capital of the world, as well as learn about its humble beginnings on Governors Island.
